After solving a messy magical feud in my hometown, I thought I would get to take a breath, maybe a long weekend away. Hot boyfriend keeps talking about proposing, son is starting kindergarten in a few months, and I just need a break from all the stress. You’d think that a time witch could take a time out once in a while.
But no, my dad, in the midst of dying, gets his soul kidnapped in New Orleans – of all places! So, I’m in the city of Creole cooking and Jazz music, trying to stop necromancers from stealing my father’s soul for all eternity.
